Google is one of the most famous search engines in the world. Most of the countries have their own search engines but countries which doesn’t has their own search engine, are using google only. But there are few less known Google search engines which you might have not heard till now. Today we are going to talk about those lesser known google search engines or services provided by google which can give you better search results.

Google Scholar

If you are a student and looking for study material or wanted to conduct a research for your study projects then you should know about Google Scholar search engine. According to its name, Google Scholar Search Engine is designed to help students. It can help students to conduct their study researches by providing them right study material based search results.

Don’t get confused between search results and papers because it will give you information but not the exact papers of any institute or university. Most of the study material provided by this search engine is available publicly. But it is good to have a search engine which will give you the exact results which are you looking. If you go by generic google search, you might get results which are not relevant for you. But it can filter results for you. People can also adjust filters and create custom alerts. The custom alerts would notify you when there’s a research available according to your project or requirement.

The story of Google Video is very interesting. Google created this platform in competition with YouTube. But instead of building the platform, google end up with buying YouTube. It was announced in October 9, 2006, that google would buy YouTube and for US$1.65 billion in stock, which was completed on November 13 2006. Even after purchasing YouTube, Google didn’t gave up the idea of video sharing platform. They folded the video streaming features from Google Videos into YouTube and relaunched Google Videos as a video search engine. 

Now Google Video search engine is pretty cool platform. You can search a lot of videos from other streaming sites as well. Apart from YouTube you can get video results from Vimeo, Vine, and multiple other streaming video services.
